| Notes |
Parker dwells in a world of four-letter acronyms. The SHVD is the Super-Heroes and Villains Department of CSIS, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, and the RCMP, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. As a Special Agent, he has responsibility over Official Investigations into any superhero or supervillain-related incidents. When things go well, this just means he shows up after everything's over, makes a few arrests, and shouts at the local crews and fills out the report. When things don't go well, there's a lot more paperwork. Parker has been with the SHVD for just over twenty-five years. He has seen the bizarre, the surreal, and the horrifying, and then written reports on them. All of this has left him a tad shell-shocked. Parker's statements often seem like complete non-sequiters; his manner is brusque and official. Like Lestrade to Hydrogen Guy's Holmes, Parker's investigative skills are merely average, but he's a good cop all around. It takes a long time to gain Parker's trust, but at this point he has an understated respect for the Diatomic Duo. Little is known about Parker's personal life. He is married, his wife is with the Vancouver City Police. On Sunday nights, he plays guitar for the Django Djava's house band, "Blues Flesh, Blues Bones". |
